The Tenerife Property Guide (TPG) Areas explained:

The Tenerife Property Guide ‘Areas’ (Adeje, Callao Salvaje, Costa del Silencio, Las Americas, Los Cristianos, Los Gigantes, Tenerife East, Tenerife North and Other Areas) were devised initially with a view to simplifying the districts that most people (mainly overseas investors, or visitors) tend to look at when considering  buying a property here in Tenerife.  We decided to ignore Tenerife South’s ‘Ayuntamientos’ (Council Areas) for the purpose of our map and simply grouped together those villages and towns, or suburbs that, to us, seemed to go together naturally.

In the main, our ‘Areas’ refer to coastal areas (our ‘Other’ area incorporates all those towns not allocated to one of our ‘Main’ areas) and they can be summarised as follows:
